Applicants are invited to apply for the Assistant Customer Service job for our client, their focus is delivering quality rollers to manufacturing and discerning industries in different regions within Africa
Duties & Responsibilities
Creating, keeping and updating customer records pertaining but not limited to:
In liaison with production department, ensure that rollers received are as per quotations sent and that the shaft sent for repair are in a serviceable condition.
Send quotations/Profoma invoices
In liaison with the managing director, compound prices will be set monthly (or sooner due to escalations).
Plan production based on job urgencies and advise the head of production department
Update clients on the status of their rollers.
Ensure that rollers to be dispatched conform to client specifications.
Ensure that deliveries are done on time and to the correct client.
You will report to the head of customer service.
You will serve as a link between production and marketing/ sales department.
You will act as a reliever/ sit in for the head of customer service when she is away.
Control transport costs and carefully check costs on any subcontracted transporter.
If need arises, visit clients to sort out invoice/ delivery issues if any.
Company drivers will report to you with who you will plan daily delivery and collection schedules.
You will familiarize yourself and uphold the company’s ISO procedures and policy.
You will serve at the reception desk: Receive and transfer calls, welcome visitors and direct them
Due to the changing nature of the business, other duties and responsibilities may be communicated to you either verbally or in writing.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service Role
