    Roles and responsibilities  Ensuring all project companies reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly) are submitted timely and are of high standard.  Reviewing flash reports and management accounts to provide analysis and interpret financial data for the purpose of determining financial performance. This includes: - Reviewing project companies’ performance (P&L) against budgets (variance analysis) Reviewing project companies’ balance sheet and working capital ratios against budget Ensuring project companies’ cash-flows are prepared and monitored.  Preparation of monthly and quarterly group reports for senior management review and ensuring they are submitted to AKFED (Aga Khan Foundation for Economic Development)  Reviewing project companies’ AKDN (Aga Khan Development Network) quarterly reports.  Driving and coordinating the annual budget process for IPS (Industrial Promotion Services)  Preparation of the consolidated IPS East Africa budget  Proving support to the project companies where there are any gaps in financial accounting with the aim of enhancing their financial reporting. Key achievements  I successfully reconstructed Trial Balance that had been maintained off the accounting system for seven years.  I managed to ensure all project companies submitted their management accounts within set deadline through creating rapport with the respective Finance managers.  The five-year budget process (2016-2020) was my key achievement as I managed to have the conversation into reporting currency and consolidation done on time and submitted to the head office in France with no queries.
